Frequently Asked Questions
Oh yeah, everyone has them. Questions that you want answers to now. Of course, if your question or answer is not here, email us. Chances are we are sitting in front of our computer right now.
Do you require payment up front?
Yes. We require a deposit of between $100 and $200 to begin working on your design, and the balance due when the site is completed by us. We accept payments via PayPal so you can pay with a credit card or your checking account.
What do I need to get started?
1. You will need a web site URL (i.e. www.cutaiadesigns.com)
2. You will need a hosting company
3. You will need to create the content for your site
4. You will need to provide photos and your logo
5. You will need to complete our web design questionnaire
Note that we can help you with each step. We have access to stock photos that are very inexpensive and we can also help you create a simple logo for FREE! Yup, that's right, with every web design we offer to create a simple logo for FREE. See our Getting Started page for more details.
How long does it take?
Yeah, we can't wait for stuff either. We start working on your site within 24 hours of getting your deposit and questionnaire. We can create a simple site in a few hours. Designing more complex sites can take a few days. Most sites can get up and running in a week and then we tweak it.
What do I need for an Ecommerce site?
If you want to actually sell stuff on your site, you can use a template ecommece site and we can help you set that up ($99 to start), or we can create a site for you from scratch. If you want to accept credit cards, you need a merchant account, but you can also accept credit cards with PayPal and you won't need an SSL or a merchant account. PayPal is a great way to go with a new ecommerce site, because there are no start up fees and you pay a fee only if you actually make a sale.

provide
this free of charge.
2. Merchant Account/Gateway or PayPal (or both)
so you can accept credit cards
3. You may need an SSL certificate, if you are not going to use a third party gateway like Paypal.
